The New York Shuffleboard Association (NYSA) is hosting our first-ever tournament for new/beginner players!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

• Date: Sunday, May 3, 2026

• Time: 12:00pm

• Location: Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club (514 Union St. Brooklyn, NY)

WHO CAN REGISTER?

This tournament is meant for players who are NEW to shuffleboard (ideally having played in 4 or fewer seasons in the Royal Palms league) and are looking for an opportunity to match up against others at a similar skill level in a fun but competitive format.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

This is a doubles tournament, meaning each team will consist of two players. We'll be matching partners up at random so you can connect with new people! 

While the exact format is dependent on the number of participants, all teams are guaranteed to play multiple matches.

WHAT IS NYSA?

The tournament sponsor, New York Shuffleboard Association (NYSA), is a non-profit, membership-based organization that aims to grow the shuffleboard community in New York state. NYSA membership is not required to play in this tournament, but we encourage you to check out our website and instagram for more information on ways you can get involved if you want to take your shuffleboard game to the next level.

• Members-only Singles Leagues, in which players compete as individuals in head-to-head matches
