Duck Tales

Welcome to ILSAs annual spring fundraiser. This year's theme: duckleboard! The competitive hobby you didn’t know you needed. Grab a partner, sign up to compete, and get ready to quackle with joy. Leading up to this event, the fundraising commission invites you to get acclimated by joining us for SpeedDuckle, speed shuffling with ducks. Click here to learn more.

Duckleboard Overview

Think shuffleboard, with a rubber duck a-top your biscuit, and the ducks play. You count and call a duck just like a biscuit. Not touching a line, good. Touching a line, no-good. Judge scoring using normal criteria: from behind the object and straight down at a 90° angle. Our tournament director, Quacktimus Prime David, has final say on line calls. Get it? Got it? Good.

Quack-tacular Tournament Details

What the Duck?! Is an any-doubles duckleboard tournament with a twist (see below). There will be pool play followed by a single elimination bracket. Each team is guaranteed three 8-frame games during pool play. Each pool will consist of 4 teams and you will play each team in your pool in a single 8-frame game, with teams changing color after four frames. Each player will be allowed warm up disks. Half the field will move on to the bracket. Playoff matches will follow the same format.

The Twist

Are you ready to Fix-A-Fowl? Play a game of chance; you just might win an advantage during game play. Quackin’ good time guaranteed. Find out more about the twists and turns on game day.
