Overview
Join us for our inaugural Flag Day Mixer, your new favorite random holiday. Sign up as a single and get randomly paired during check-in. You are guaranteed four (4) 8-frame games and ILSA points. Sprinkle in some random draws, speedshuffle and a 16-frame final, your team just might win $100.

Details
This is a random any doubles tournament with a $20 entry fee being held on Flag Day, Sunday 6/14.

You'll show up and blind grab a flag.
Your partner is the person with the matching flag.
You'll play three (3) 8-frame games against different opponents for seeding. Game of chance for color.
Game 1 the TD will call random teams to draw their opponent who then draws the court assignment. Finish your first match, draw your next opponent, your opponent draws for court. Rinse, repeat.

All teams will be ranked according to their record.
Wins get you 2 points; 3 wins gets you an extra point, 1 point if you play and are defeated in all 3 games.
Ties are broken by average points per game.

Eight teams will be bracketed for one 8-frame game. Lose and speed shuffle for 5th-8th final rankings.
9th/10th will play a consolation match. Have fun, choose your format, get those reps in and prep for your next shuffle adventure.
Top 4 move on for semi-final 8-frame games.
3rd & 4th place determined by the higher semi-final game score.
The championship match will be 16 frames, switch after 8.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of Top Gun: I feel the need, the need for speed. Games should take no more than 30 min, no practice after the start of the tournament. Some coaching allowed, lets not get crazy. Keep those games moving, we're on the courts for a good time not a long time. Challenge yourself to trust that first instinct. Take those extra minutes after your match and hang out at the bar.

This event is only open to ILSA members. If you are not a member, join ILSA now!

Your participation indicates that you’ll abide by the ILSA constitution which includes a code of conduct.  If you have yet to acknowledge this for our records, you must do so before game day. Click here to review and submit your response. 

Refunds
Refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee and are available until 6/7.
The executive board will consider special circumstances for refunds beyond that date.  However, please note the penalty for last minute cancellations may deem you ineligible to play in the next event.
