Tournament Details:
- This is a 64-person Single Elimination Knockout Tournament with a Consolation Bracket. What does that mean? Regardless of if you win or lose your first match, you're still in the Tournament. If you lose your first match, you move into a 32-person consolation bracket. Any loss thereafter results in elimination.
- There are two divisions available, Intermediate and Advanced. Intermediate competitors are allowed to sign up for both, but because spaces are limited to 64 in each, I would urge you to only sign up for both if you have ample time/availability. Advanced players are not allowed to compete in the Intermediate division.
Eligibility for D1 Advanced and D2 Intermediate:
- D1 Advanced is open to ALL competitors.
- D2 Intermediate is only open to competitors whose individual RecRec ELO is below 1100.
- If your ELO is between 1050-1100, you're likely between the two divisions and can choose whether you have the time for both. If you are unsure what your ELO is, reach out to singles@newyorkshuffleboard.org.
- NOTE: You ARE PERMITTED to sign up for BOTH divisions if eligible to compete in the Intermediate Division, but please be sure to have the flexible availability to schedule matches in both divisions if you choose to do that.
Tournament Schedule:
Now through Mar 10: Sign-ups for both the Intermediate and Advanced Knockout Divisions.
by Mar 29: complete first match (determine's main or consolation)
by Apr 12: complete second match (elimination round)

For each round, you will have up to 2 weeks to COMPLETE your next match. After which, a double forfeit will occur. NYSA recommends you be proactive in reaching out to your next opponent(s) in the next round once you've scheduled your current match.
