The Illinois Shuffleboard Association's singles league is back for another great season! We are changing up the match format this season, so give this a read:

Everyone will be guaranteed at least 7 regular season matches that you will self-schedule
Get in touch with your opponent to find a good time to play at Royal Palms Chicago
Playoffs will follow for top players
Half of entry fee goes to prize money (exact prizes to be determined after registration closes)
Matches will be two 10-Frame Games!
If one person wins both games, they earn 3 Points
If each player wins one game, each will earn 1 Point, and no tiebreaker game will be played

This season will run from April to mid-June. We will have a detailed schedule once we know how many people are playing!

Requirements:

You must be an active member of The Illinois Shuffleboard Association. If you are not a member, you can join at https://www.illinoisshuffleboard.org/join/.
You must be on a registered team in Royal Palms Chicago's Spring League
You must agree to the Illinois Shuffleboard Association's Code of Conduct

The following Code of Conduct represents the policy for the Illinois Shuffleboard Association. It applies to members, elected officials, committee members, instructors, referees, and spectators. Play the game with a spirit of good sportsmanship and act in a responsible manner. All players should conduct themselves in a manner that will ensure a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable environment for all.

Members must acknowledge that we are all representatives of a global shuffleboard community. As such, one must respect the age, spirituality, ethnic background and race, gender, sexual orientation, and disabilities of all persons involved.

There shall be no action as an attempt to intimidate, harass or demean opponents, teammates, officials, members, and spectators. This includes; threats, hurtful language, inappropriate disruption of events, unwanted sexual attention, bullying, or stalking - in person, online, or via social media.

Be aware of one’s surroundings. Be courteous, responsible, and respectful.
