Join us for an ILSA Field Trip! We’ll be hosting a doubles tournament at Riverside Park in Janesville, WI where they have 6 outdoor courts overlooking the Rock River. We’re excited to offer an opportunity for players to participate in a beaded court tournament without the high costs and PTO required to participate in a national tournament out of state.

Tournament Details

This is a 16-team Any Doubles tournament that will consist of pool play followed by a single elimination playoff bracket.

Each team is guaranteed three games during pool play. Each pool will consist of 4 teams and you will play each team in your pool in a single 8-frame game, with teams changing color after 4 frames. Each player will be allowed 6 warm-up discs (2 for speed, 4 on starting color) before frame 1.

The format may change in order to maximize playing time for everyone in the event that the tournament does not sell out or at the TD's discretion.

What else is going on at Riverside Park?

You’ll have lots of options of how to spend your time between games! If your team doesn’t make it out of group play, there are many other sport options throughout the 87-acre park and we'll have yard games to play as well!

Prizing

Glory and ILSA points will be awarded to the top 8 teams.

Registration

The entry fee for the tournament is $100 per player ($200 per team). This includes:

Round-trip transit from Chicago on a chartered (party) bus - BYOB!
Entry into the tournament
A BBQ lunch

We encourage you to partner with friends or family-members for this outing. Only one player per team must be an ILSA-member.

NOTE: If we don't fill the bus by July 18th, the tournament will be held but transportation will not be provided. Registered players will be notified and offered a choice: either attend the tournament and BBQ with a partial refund, or receive a full refund for the event.
