The Illinois Shuffleboard Association's Doubles League is back for 2026!

The Doubles FUNdamentals Division provides the opportunity to focus on your fundamental skills while having fun along the way - and with a teammate!  

The Doubles Challenge Division is tailored for experienced players who possess a high level of skill and a strong competitive drive. It's where ILSA members can come together in a team format to test their abilities, strategize, and vie for victory in a format more geared towards national tournaments.

Make sure to review the key differences between divisions before registering, you can only join one division. Both divisons will start on June 2nd, and we should wrap up playoffs by the beginning of September.

FUNdamental Division

• Everyone will be guaranteed at least 7 regular season matches that you and your teammate will self-schedule

• Match format will be a single 16 frame game (switching colors after 8 frames)

• League format will consist of two rounds of pool play

• Playoffs will follow for top players

• Get in touch with your opponents to find a good time to play at Royal Palms Chicago

• Open to all players, with no restrictions on registration

• Coaching allowed, similar to Palms league night

• $50 entry fee

Challenge Division

• Everyone will be guaranteed at least 7 matches that you and your teammate will self-schedule!

• Match format will be a single 16 frame game (switching colors after 8 frames)

• League format will consist of two rounds of pool play

• Playoff bracket will follow for top teams

• Get in touch with your opponents to find a good time to play at Royal Palms Chicago

• Open to all players, with no restrictions on registration

• No coaching allowed, similar to national tournament rules

• $80 entry fee

Requirements:

• For all ILSA leagues, you must be an active member of The Illinois Shuffleboard Association. If you are not a member, you can join at https://www.illinoisshuffleboard.org/join/

• If you are not yet a member and join doubles league for the first time, you'll receive a promo code for $20 off your first year of ILSA membership.

• You must agree to the Illinois Shuffleboard Association's Code of Conduct to participate in ILSA leagues
