2. A member of the New York Shuffleboard Association (NYSA)

Tournament Details:

- This is an elimination singles tournament with a consolation bracket, meaning that all players are guaranteed at least two 16-frame matches. Winners of the first match advance to the main bracket, while losers move on to consolation. Any loss thereafter results in elimination.

- There are two divisions available. Players may register for any and all divisions for which they are eligible:

• Advanced: designed for experienced players, but open for ALL who want to test their skills in a competitive format. 

• Intermediate: ideal for new and experienced players looking for an opportunity to play competitively as an individual to grow their abilities and further develop strategy. Only players with an ELO of 1100 or below are eligible for this division. (Need help finding your ELO, email singles@newyorkshuffleboard.org.)

**Please only register for one or more Knockout tournaments if you have flexible availability during the tournament period to schedule your matches for all tournaments for which you’ve registered.

Tournament Schedule:

To ensure timely completion of the tournament and accommodate varying schedules, each round of play spans a 2-week period. Matches must be completed within that time frame. An inability to complete matches within the designated time frame will result in a double forfeit.

Timeline for Completion:

March 12: Registration Deadline

March 27: First Match

April 10: Second Match (Elimination Round)

April 24: Quarterfinals

May 8: Semi-Finals

May 22: Finals

NOTES:

a) This is managed SEPARATELY from any Singles League.

b) NYSA strongly recommends joining the discord server to aid in scheduling your matches.

c) DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. Submit this Contact Form to assist in scheduling matches.

d) Match Format will be a 16-frame walking game with a color switch halfway.

This is a NYSA Member event and registration is non-refundable. Non-members who sign up will be removed without a refund, but their entry will be transferable to future NYSA Tournaments after they've signed up as members.
